Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a gesture vocalizer system for converting hand motion into communication outputs. The system comprises a wearable support member adapted to be carried on a hand of a user and a motion sensing unit mounted to the wearable support member to generate motion signals along three axes. A transmitter control unit is operatively connected to the motion sensing unit and processes the motion signals against stored gesture mappings. A wireless communication unit transmits gesture data corresponding to a recognized gesture. A receiver unit receives the gesture data and operates a voice output module, a visual output module, and an alert output module according to the recognized gesture. The system supports wearable gesture capture, embedded processing, wireless transfer, and multiple communication outputs corresponding to hand motion.
