MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611069529 A) filed by Chandigarh University on June 03, 2026, for Graph-Neural Adaptive Meta-Catalytic Surface For Real-Time Molecular Decomposition.

Inventors include Shaman Sharma; Gurleen Kaur; Nistha; and Dr. Deepak Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a graph-neural programmable meta-catalytic surface architecture for real-time adaptive molecular decomposition in extreme industrial environments. The system comprises a chemical spectral acquisition layer, a molecular graph reconstruction engine, a graph neural operator, a bond inversion energy controller, an electromagnetic morphing matrix, and a dynamically reconfigurable metal-organic framework catalytic surface. The graph neural operator analyzes molecular topology and predicts catalytic decomposition parameters including bond instability regions and active-site geometry. The electromagnetic morphing matrix dynamically alters catalytic cavity structures through programmable electromagnetic field distributions to match target molecular configurations. The reconfigured catalytic surface initiates bond destabilization and molecular fragmentation for decomposition of pollutants into safer compounds. An autonomous feedback system continuously optimizes catalytic efficiency through adaptive machine-learning operations. The invention enables scalable adaptive catalysis for industrial wastewater treatment, chemical remediation, pharmaceutical effluent purification, and environmental cleanup under harsh industrial conditions.
