Abstract: Abstract A green cloud computing recommendation system is disclosed for green cloud computing and energy-aware resource recommendation. The system receives workload requirements, VM configuration data, power usage effectiveness values, carbon emission factors, utilization records and SLA constraints from cloud consumers, brokers, providers, auditors and data centre operators through an input interface. A conditioning portion prepares the received input by filtering, normalizing, parsing, segmenting or otherwise converting the input into a structured representation suited to the particular processing task. A decision portion then measures resource usage, evaluates PUE and carbon factors, predicts suitable VM or migration options and recommends a workload placement that respects the service constraint. The system generates VM configuration recommendations, migration suggestions, energy-saving actions and carbon-impact reports through an output interface and stores a corresponding processing record. The arrangement links acquisition, conditioning, decision processing and output generation in one operative chain, because sustainability metrics are evaluated at the same decision point as workload placement and VM selection.
