Abstract: The major goal of this project is to design and develop a smart tree information system that can help to identify and resolve the limitations of the existing static plant information systems. The project is focused on developing a low-cost, efficient, and interactive tree information system that can be operated by a single user with the help of a regular smartphone. This project can provide a low-cost, efficient, and technologically advanced solution to the educational institutions of the world for the management of botanical information and environmental information. The project has identified the limitations of the conventional information systems, including the limitations of the QR redirect method, and has come up with viable solutions to the identified limitations of the existing information systems. The limitations of the existing information systems have been eliminated by the new system, which allows users to access the information of the trees instantly and comfortably. In consideration of the fact that environmental literacy and sustainability have become two of the most important components of modern academic institutions, the accessibility of botanical information must be addressed. The main focus of this project is to enhance the management of digital biodiversity, which is currently low compared to its future prospects. In order to enhance the level of environmental literacy through the use of modern technology, the proposed system will be based on the Green QR Smart Tree Information System, which uses cloud computing and QR code technology. Upon scanning the QR code embedded on the tree, the mobile application will retrieve the Tree ID and transmit it to the cloud database. The system will then provide a comprehensive botanical profile that includes the scientific name, medicinal value, height, diameter, canopy spread, water requirements, and annual oxygen produced. The effectiveness of this system will have a direct bearing on the level of botanical education. Therefore, the improvement of the Green QR system must be addressed
