Abstract: ABSTRACT Green Synthesis of High Entropy Alloy and/or Multi-Component Alloy Nanoparticles Using Neem Leaf Extract The present disclosure relates to a green synthesis method for synthesizing FeCuPtPdAu high entropy alloy (HEA) and/or multi-component alloy (MCA) nanoparticles using aqueous leaf extract of Azadirachta indica (neem). The method employs phytochemicals of the plant extract as natural reducing, capping, and stabilizing agents, thereby eliminating the need for hazardous chemical reagents. Metal salt precursors of Fe, Cu, Pt, Pd, and Au are dissolved in aqueous medium to form an electrolyte solution, which is subsequently combined with the neem leaf extract under stirring conditions to initiate reduction and alloy formation. The resulting nanoparticles are recovered through filtration, washing, and drying to obtain nanocrystalline HEA/MCA powders. The process is simple, cost-effective, scalable, and environmentally friendly, and yields stable multi-component alloy nanoparticles suitable for catalytic and functional applications. [Figure 1]
