Abstract: The present invention describes This invention provides a green synthesis method for producing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using an aqueous Aloe vera extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent. The synthesis is rapid, eco-friendly, and does not require toxic chemicals. Characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction, HRTEM, zeta potential, Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry, confirm the successful synthesis and stability of AgNPs with a face-centered cubic structure and colloidal stability. The AgNPs exhibit significant antibacterial efficacy against grampositive and gram-negative bacteria and possess electrochemical properties suitable for sensor applications. This green synthesis method offers a sustainable and biocompatible approach to producing silver nanoparticles for applications in antimicrobial agents, biomedical devices, and optoelectronics.
