Abstract: ABSTRACT GRIPPING DEVICE A gripping device includes a first side link, a central link coupled to the first side link at a first position proximate to a first longitudinal end, and a second 5 side link laterally offset from the first side link and coupled to the central link at a second position. The second side link intersects with the first side link to form a first junction region. A first working end is formed by terminal portions of the first side link and the second side link extending beyond the first junction region, and is actuable for performing a first gripping action. A 10 second working end is formed by a terminal portion of at least one of the side links in another direction, and is actuable for performing a second gripping action different from the first gripping action. An actuation window enclosed between the first junction region and the central link enables the first gripping action.
