Abstract: ABSTRACT: Dark chocolate has always been popular amongst the hikers and mountaineers as is rich in flavonoids and has been shown to rise nitric oxide in the blood. The release of nitric oxide has the potential to boost transport of oxygen to muscles, especially in hypoxic environments like high altitudes. The antioxidants in cocoa are also believed to improve circulation of oxygen and boost blood flow throughout the body. These antioxidants also elevate our level of energy and decrease tiredness. Thus, chocolates give hikers and mountaineers an extra boost of stamina whenever they need it. This invention aims to the replacement of normal chocolate bar from a mountaineer’s backpack to a highly energetic bar that is made with dry fruits soaked in the old-fashioned English alcoholic drink (Grog) that was prepared to fight the cold weather during Christmas. The Grog Choco bar would not only give all the benefits of the chocolate but would also provide all the medicinal benefits of Grog which would be a great combination for people hiking to higher cold altitudes. A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a medicinal chocolate bar that has the potential to fight against cold and would be a life saver for many hikers who fail to fight fatigue and extreme cold conditions during their hiking. Another object of the present invention is to come across as a healthy chocolate bar that boosts the stamina and is beneficial for people during cold weathers in any part of the world. The difference between the present invention and other available hiking chocolates is that though the prior art and this invention would be using the dark chocolate, yet the addition of fortified dry fruits (raisons, almonds and cashews) with Grog i.e., brandy aromatized for over a year in spices and herbs to intensify the benefits of fighting extreme conditions, makes this a best “go to meal” in winters for an instant energy source for many. Chocolate is also known as a wonder food and this invention uplifts its benefits to another level.
