Abstract: GUARDIAN is a mobile-based emergency safety system designed to provide immediate assistance during critical situations. Users can discreetly activate an SOS through a predefined sequence of physical button presses without unlocking or interacting with the screen. Upon activation, the system simultaneously shares the user's live location, audio, and video with nearby verified GUARDIAN users, trusted contacts, a designated primary contact, and law enforcement authorities. Unlike existing safety applications that primarily notify pre-selected contacts, GUARDIAN introduces a locality-based emergency response network that alerts verified users within a defined radius, enabling faster assistance from people closest to the incident. The system securely stores all emergency recordings for future reference and evidentiary purposes. It also features a preventive fake-call function, government ID-based user verification to reduce misuse, multilingual support, and three emergency response levels, allowing users to communicate the severity of their situation and receive assistance appropriate to the level of risk.
