Abstract: ABSTRACT: This invention introduces a gutta percha recycling system that enables dental professionals to efficiently manage and reuse excess gutta percha cones. The system involves a three-stage process: disinfection, heating, and pellet formation. Initially, used or excess gutta percha cones undergo a disinfection cycle using ultraviolet (UV) sterilisation. The disinfected material is then heated to a controlled temperature to soften it without degrading its properties. Finally, the softened material is moulded into standardised pellets for future use in root canal procedures or research applications. This eco-friendly solution minimises waste, reduces material costs, and encourages sustainable dental practices.
