MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611069695 A) filed by Satbir Singh; and Baljinder Kaur on June 03, 2026, for Hammer Mill Rotor.

Inventor includes Satbir Singh.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: A hammer mill rotor (100) includes a shaft (16) extending along a longitudinal axis (27) and a hollow drum (24) concentrically mounted over the shaft (16) for providing structural support along an outer diameter. Multiple middle plates (19) are positioned circumferentially around and along the length of the hollow drum (24) and are fixed relative to the hollow drum (24) for supporting hammer rods (28) while maintaining concentric alignment with respect to the shaft (16). Side plates (17, 18) are positioned at opposite ends of the hollow drum (24) and are mounted on the shaft (16) and coupled to the hollow drum (24). The hollow drum (24) provides a continuous support surface for the middle plates (19), which improves positional stability and alignment of the rotor assembly. The arrangement enables post-assembly machining of the middle plates (19), side plates (17, 18), and hollow drum (24) to improve perpendicularity, concentricity, and dynamic balancing characteristics during high-speed rotational operation of the hammer mill rotor (100).
