Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a handheld device (100) configured for applying edible spread on opposite surfaces of food substrate through synchronized dispensing and rotational movement of the food substrate, thereby enabling controlled, uniform, and repeatable coating while reducing manual handling, minimizing bread deformation, and improving application efficiency. The handheld device (100) comprises a frame (102), a pair of spreaders (104), a storage chamber (106), a pair of dispensing conduits (108), an actuating member (110), a transmission assembly (112), a rack member (118), a rotating assembly (120), a pair of holding pins (126), a cover plate (132), and a pair of fasteners (140). The handheld device (100) enables synchronized dispensing of edible spread and rotational movement of food substrate to achieve substantially uniform coating distribution.
