Abstract: ABSTRACT “HANDLING AN INVENTORY PROCEDURE BETWEEN MULTIPLE READERS AND AN A-IOT DEVICE” The present disclosure relates to handling an inventory procedure between multiple readers, and the A-IoT device is disclosed. The A-IoT device receives a first inventory command message from a first reader while operating in a listening mode. Then decoding of the first inventory command message to identify at least a reader identifier and a communication slot duration is performed. Afterwards, initiate the inventory procedure with the first reader based on the decoded identifiers. Subsequently, during the inventory procedure, discarding any subsequent messages when received from the other readers within the same communication slot duration associated with the first inventory command message, and identifying that the reader identifier decoded from each of such subsequent messages is different from the reader identifier associated with the first inventory command message.
