MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611063271 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on May 19, 2026, for Headgear System.

Inventor includes Jitendra Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a headgear system (100) for real-time behavioural analytics. The system (100) comprises a sensing unit (105) configured to detect motion parameters, helmet usage status, and impact events, an imaging unit (120) configured to capture and encode real-time and buffered video data, and a location tracking unit (115) configured to determine geographical location data. A controller (110) comprising a processing unit (110a) and a storage unit (110b) performs multi-sensor fusion, behavioural profile generation, fatigue detection, and crash-event detection. The storage unit (110b) comprises a circular memory buffer configured to preserve pre-impact video data upon confirmation of a crash event. An actuator (125) generates alert signals upon detection of unsafe conditions, and a user device (130) receives emergency notifications including location and recorded video data. The controller (110) validates detected events using multi-sensor confirmation logic and classifies impact severity based on detected signal characteristics.
