Abstract: The HeatGuard Socket is a smart electrical safety device designed to prevent fire hazards and equipment damage caused by overheating, overload, and faulty electrical connections in household power outlets. Conventional sockets supply continuous power without monitoring temperature rise, even when excessive current flow or loose wiring generates dangerous heat levels. Such conditions often-lead to insulation failure, short circuits, and electficaffifes. The HeatGuard Socket addresses this critical safety concern by incorporating real-time temperature sensing and automated power interruption within the socket unit. The system continuously tracks thermal conditions at the contact terminals and internal wiring using embedded temperature sensors. When abnormal temperature elevation beyond a safe operating threshold is detected, a control unit instantly disconnects the electrical supply through an integrated switching mechanism. Once the temperature returns to a safe range, power can be restored automatically or manually based on user preference. The device further includes visual and audible alerts to notify users of overheating conditions. Designed for compatibility with standard household appliances, the HeatGuard Socket operates as a direct replacement for conventional wall outlets without requiring complex installation. By providing early thermal fault detection and immediate response, the invention significantly reduces electrical fire risks and enhances user safety.
