Abstract: ABSTRACT Herbal Pain relief composition and a method for the preparation thereof A herbal pain relief composition comprising a) powder of nytanthesarbor-tristis and extract thereof; b) powder of acorus calamus and extract thereof; c) an oil of gaultheria fragrantissima; d) crystals of menthol; e) crystals of cinnamomumcamphora; f) an oil of eucalyptus globulus; g) an oil of lavendulastoeche; h) an oil of sesamum indicum; and i) excipients. This herbal composition is employed to treat to relieve pain including headache, joint pain, muscle pain, migraine, muscle spasm etc. It is in the form of roll-on or spray and used for topical administration. The present invention also provides a method for the preparation of the herbal pain relief composition and further converted into roll-on or spray for topical administration.
