Abstract: A heterogeneous compute orchestration system (100) for real-time AI-native radio access network control is disclosed. The system comprises a telemetry aggregation module (110), a hardware-aware inference router (120) with a latency prediction engine (122), parallel GPU (130) and FPGA (140) inference pipelines connected via PCIe and POSIX shared memory, a hierarchical reinforcement learning controller (150), a federated policy synchronization module (160) with differential privacy, a dynamic workload partitioner (170), a control action dispatcher (180), and a performance monitoring module (190). The system achieves sub-500 microsecond end-to- end control latency by dynamically partitioning inference workloads between GPU and FPGA accelerators using predicted latency, routing tasks to the FPGA when the GPU is congested, and employing zero-copy shared memory with pre-allocated CUDA pinned memory buffers, enabling concurrent AI-driven RAN control within per- slot timing budgets of GPU-accelerated 5G NR systems.
