Abstract: Abstract: I The invention Honeycomb Air-Bed with temperature regulation air mattress system , designed to mitigate the dual risks of pressure ulcers and thermal discomfort in immobilized patients. The core innovation is the integration of a thin highly porous layer positioned air mattress structure. This layer comprises a materiak such as a honeycomb sheet (similar to those utilized in evaporative air coolers, but optimized for bedding). This honeycomb structure provides an exceptionally high surface area for heat exchange and passive moisture wicking. When incorporated into the air bed, the constant, gentle airflow already inherent in the dynamic air pressure system is channeled across and through the micro-channels of the cooling layer. This channeled air, often slightly cooler than the patient's body temperature, facilitates the rapid transfer of heat away from the patient's back and reduces the accumulation of moisture vapor. The system maintains all the essential functionality of a standard air mattress, including alternating pressure cycles or low-air-loss features, while simultaneously introducing a passive, low-maintenance cooling and dehumidifying element. This results in a consistently cooler, drier interface for the patient, which is a crucial factor in maintaining skin integrity and enhancing overall comfort during prolonged bed rest
