Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented hospital workflow and pharmacy intelligence platform configured to connect prescription processing, pharmacy operations, medicine inventory management, and patient communication. The proposed system provides an integrated environment combining voice prescription capture, speech-to-text conversion, medicine information extraction, clinician verification, electronic prescription generation, pharmacy dispensing coordination, inventory monitoring, demand forecasting, procurement support, billing and returns reconciliation, and patient notifications. The system receives a doctor's spoken or entered prescription instruction and converts the input into a structured prescription draft. The extracted information may include medicine name, strength, dosage form, dose, route, frequency, duration, and quantity where provided. The structured draft is presented to an authorized clinician for review and approval before a final digital prescription is generated. An approved prescription may be made available to an authorized pharmacy. Pharmacy staff can review the prescription, record dispensing, and update inventory records. The inventory component may maintain stock quantities, batch information, expiry dates, supplier information, and stock movements. A forecasting component may analyze historical consumption and relevant operational data to estimate future medicine demand and identify potential shortages or excess stock. The platform may generate low-stock alerts, expiry notifications, and replenishment recommendations. It may also compare prescription, dispensing, billing, return, and inventory records to identify discrepancies for authorized review. Patient-facing notifications may communicate approved prescription or dispensing updates. The proposed system aims to improve coordination and traceability across hospital and pharmacy workflows while retaining clinician verification and authorized operational decision-making.
