MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641089355 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on July 22, 2026, for Hybrid Energy Harvesting System And Method Thereof.

Inventors include Shivani Gupta; Tushar Sharma; Avishkar Jaiswal; and Harsh Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: A hybrid energy harvesting system (100) may include at least one mechanical energy input source (102) to generate electrical energy from mechanical input, a resonance coupling unit (104) operatively coupled to the at least one mechanical energy input source (102) to perform mechanical frequency-domain transformation through adaptive resonance by converting non-uniform mechanical inputs into oscillatory motion within one or more target frequency bands for electrical energy conversion, and an analog energy management network (106) electrically coupled to the at least one mechanical energy input source (102) and the resonance coupling unit (104) to perform dynamic physical reconfiguration of circuit topology based on analog threshold conditions by altering electrical interconnections, impedance characteristics, and energy routing pathways in real time. The system (100) may further include an energy storage unit (108) and a power distribution unit (110) to deliver regulated electrical output to one or more electrical loads (112).
