Abstract: A hybrid HVAC waste energy recovery system, comprising an aerodynamic enclosure 101 positioned in a discharge airflow path of a condenser fan 102 to condition exhaust airflow through at least one flow-conditioning structure while maintaining acceptable airflow performance limits, a turbine rotor 105 to convert airflow kinetic energy into rotational mechanical energy for electrical generation, an electrical generator 106 mechanically for converting rotational energy into electrical energy, a power conditioning module 107 including a rectifier and a DC-DC converter with maximum power point tracking for converting and regulating electrical output, and a DC bus electrically connected to the power conditioning module 107 for supplying power to at least one load or energy storage unit, wherein the system enables controlled extraction of kinetic energy from condenser exhaust airflow while preserving operational performance of the HVAC system and delivering conditioned electrical energy for utilization or storage.
