MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641068600 A) filed by Sr University on June 01, 2026, for Hybrid Hyperspectral–multimodal Ai Framework For Early Mint Disease Diagnosis And Environmental Stress Correlation.
Inventors include O. Divya Jyothi; Dr. Johnson Kolluri; and Dr. B. Sankarababu.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: HYBRID HYPERSPECTRAL–MULTIMODAL AI FRAMEWORK FOR EARLY MINT DISEASE DIAGNOSIS AND ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS CORRELATION The invention relates to a hybrid hyperspectral–multimodal artificial intelligence framework for early diagnosis of mint plant diseases. The framework integrates hyperspectral imaging and real-time environmental sensing to identify disease-associated anomalies before visible symptom manifestation. An adaptive fusion engine generates unified latent representations from heterogeneous datasets, while a cross-domain self-learning mechanism dynamically correlates spectral signatures with environmental stress factors. A temporal intelligence module models stress–disease evolution patterns and predicts future disease risks. The invention reduces dependency on labeled datasets, improves diagnostic accuracy, enables proactive crop management, and supports sustainable precision agriculture.
