Abstract: ABSTRACT HYBRID MACHINE LEARNING AND HASH CHAIN SYSTEM FOR MSME CARBON CREDIT CERTIFICATION AND TRADING The present invention discloses a hybrid machine learning and cryptographic hash chain framework (100) for end-to-end carbon lifecycle management in MSMEs. The framework (100) comprises a data ingestion and preprocessing layer (110) for time-series energy data, a feature engineering module (120) deriving multi-dimensional features, a multi-model machine learning prediction engine (130) using linear regression, ridge regression, lasso regression, and random forest regressors for hourly emission prediction, and an Isolation Forest anomaly detection module (140) for automated screening of suspect records. A carbon credit quantification engine (150) computes verified credits using CDM baseline methodology. A SHA-256 cryptographic hash chain verification layer (160) generates tamper-evident certificates through singly- linked hash chain blocks without distributed blockchain infrastructure. A peer-to-peer marketplace module (170) enables credit trading with provenance anchored to certificate hashes. An ESG reporting and compliance engine (180) produces regulatory-compliant reports. [
