Abstract: ABSTRACT HYBRID QUANTUM-CLASSICAL APPARATUS FOR MULTI-MODAL NEURODEGENERATIVE BIOMARKER RISK-STRATIFICATION An apparatus for multi-modal neurodegenerative biomarker risk-stratification comprises a multi-modal biosignal acquisition module comprising an electrochemical biosensor cartridge (101) and a dry-electrode EEG acquisition head (102), an analog front-end (103) coupled thereto and configured to digitize biosignal data, and a quantum processing interface (201) configured to receive encoded feature data and execute quantum kernel computation. An FPGA fabric (301) hosts a hardware neural-network readout classifier (302) performing per-shot quantum state discrimination on measurement shots from the quantum processing interface (201), and a tensored calibration-matrix multiply unit (303) applying readout-error-mitigation to produce error-mitigated expectation values. A quantum kernel-matrix condition- number monitor (304) computes a condition number of a quantum kernel matrix from the error-mitigated expectation values and generates a stability flag based on comparison to a programmable threshold. A risk-stratification index generator (403) produces a multi-tier risk-stratification signal based on classification of the error- mitigated quantum kernel matrix. (Fig. 1)
