Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydraulic nursery poly bag compression machine designed to convert cylindrical or tubular nursery poly bags containing live plants into square or rectangular profiles for space-efficient transport. The device comprises a rigid frame, a base plate, adjustable guide system, hydraulic jack, and a compression plate. The hydraulic jack generates controlled pressure, which is transferred through the compression plate to gradually reshape the poly bag without damaging the plant roots or soil structure. Adjustable guides ensure proper alignment of different bag sizes, while controlled compression enables uniform shaping. The resulting square-shaped bags allow improved stacking efficiency, increasing transport capacity and reducing logistics costs. The machine is portable, low-cost, and suitable for nursery applications, offering a practical solution for optimizing plant transportation while maintaining plant health and structural integrity.
