Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydrogel-based intraoral cooling tray configured for prevention and management of oral mucositis in radiotherapy and chemotherapy patients. The device comprises a flexible anatomically contoured intraoral tray containing multiple hydrogel-filled cooling compartments and reservoir channels capable of delivering sustained passive cooling to oral tissues following refrigeration. The tray is fabricated from medical-grade biocompatible polymers and includes smooth atraumatic mucosal contact surfaces for enhanced patient comfort. The hydrogel cooling system reduces oral inflammation, pain, erythema, ulceration, and mucosal injury associated with cancer therapy. The device may be reusable or disposable and is suitable for oncology hospitals, radiotherapy centers, and home-care settings
