Abstract: An illumination apparatus 1 has a light source 10, a reflecting mirror 20 of a tubular shape, which controls light emitted from the light source 10, and a cone 30 having a tubular shape, disposed at a side opposite from the light source 10 in an axial direction of the reflecting mirror 20. The reflecting mirror 20 has an inner diameter enlarged from a light entrance port 21 toward a light exit port 22 so that the inner diameter is largest at the light exit port 22. The reflecting mirror 20 and the cone 30 are configured such that light emitted from the light exit port 22 passes through a tubular structure of the cone 30 substantially without being incident on an inner circumferential surface of the cone 30.
