Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an imaging optical lens, comprising a total of eight lenses. The eight lenses are arranged in sequence from an object side to an image side as follows: a first lens having a positive refractive power, a second lens having a negative refractive power, a third lens having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens having a positive refractive power, a fifth lens having a negative refractive power, a sixth lens, a seventh lens having a positive refractive power, and an eighth lens having a negative refractive power, wherein the focal length of the imaging optical lens is defined as f, the focal length of the first lens is defined as f1, the focal length of the second lens is defined as f2, the central radius of curvature of the object-side surface of the second lens is defined as R3, the central radius of curvature of the image-side surface of the second lens is defined as R4, the central radius of curvature of the object-side surface of the fourth lens is defined as R7, and the central radius of curvature of the image-side surface of the fourth lens is defined as R8, satisfying the following relational expressions: -7.10=f2/(R3-R4)=-1.50; 1.49=R7/R8=3.01; and 0.95=f1/f=1.16.
