Abstract: ABSTRACT "IMPROVED HERBAL OIL-BASED LIQUID FORMULATION FOR TREATMENT OF MIGRAINE" Disclosed is an improved herbal oil-based liquid formulation for the treatment of migraine comprising sesame (Sesamum indicum) oil, pulp/paste obtained from Acalypha indica, Murraya koenigii, and Ocimum basilicum, and Nardostachys jatamansi essential oil. Also disclosed is a process for preparing the formulation by extracting the herbal pulps in sesame oil, followed by filtration, cooling, and incorporation of Nardostachys jatamansi essential oil. The formulation is suitable for topical or nasal administration for the management of migraine with aura and migraine without aura.
