Abstract: An infant safety device, comprising a wearable garment which includes a vest 101 configured to be worn by an upper torso of an infant, a vital sensing assembly 104 and a motion sensing assembly operatively coupled to a control unit for continuous physiological and motion monitoring, an inflation control assembly including a compressed gas cartridge 105, electrically actuated release valve 106 and pressure regulator to regulate the release of compressed gas in the protective inflatable structures 107, an inflatable head protection assembly rapidly deploy into a dome-like protective structure around the head region for impact absorption, an inflatable torso protection assembly 109 to selectively deploy front, back, or side cushioning structures, a fall classification engine to detect uncontrolled falls using impact and posture analysis, an explainable artificial intelligence module to generate reason-based fall reports.
