Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are an information transmission method and apparatus, and a terminal and a first network function entity. The method is applied to a terminal, and comprises: receiving a first start time and/or a first activation time of an MBS session, which is sent by a first network function entity; when the number of times for repeatedly executing a target process reaches a first number of times and a paging message and/or service data related to the MBS session is not acquired, entering a connected state from an idle state, wherein the target process comprises waking up at the first start time and/or the first activation time, and monitoring or attempting to receive the paging message and/or the service data related to the MBS session; and receiving a first message, which is sent by the first network function entity, wherein a second time message in the first message is used for instructing a terminal to receive, at a second start time and/or a second activation time, the paging message and/or the service data related to the MBS session.
