Abstract: An injection molding machine 1 is provided with: an injection device 10 having a heating barrel 11 in which a screw 20 is disposed; a mold 75 for molding a resin material; an encoder 52 for detecting an injection speed S of the screw 20; a load cell 60 for detecting an injection pressure P acting on the screw 20; and a control device 100 for controlling a pressure of the resin material in the mold 75 by controlling a movement of the screw 20. The control device 100 has: a pressure loss calculation unit 111 for obtaining a pressure loss in the injection device 10 on the basis of a pressure loss model M and the injection speed S detected by the encoder 52; a virtual mold internal pressure calculation unit 112 for obtaining a virtual mold internal pressure V by subtracting the pressure loss from the injection pressure P; and a movement control part 120 for controlling the movement of the screw 20 when injecting the resin material, and for controlling the movement on the basis of the virtual mold internal pressure V obtained by the virtual mold internal pressure calculation unit 112, so that the pressure of the resin material injected into the mold 75 can be controlled without impairing the degree of freedom in design of the mold 75.
