MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521087569 A) filed by Mr. Pritam Nandlal Lalwani on September 15, 2025, for Integrated Field-Deployable System For Ai-Driven Diagnosisof Haematological Disorders.

Inventor includes Mr. Pritam Nandlal Lalwani.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an integrated, portable point-of-care (POC) system for the automated screening of hematological disorders using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques. Designed for use in resource-limited or field settings, the device accepts a capillary blood sample, automates smear preparation using a novel reagent-based system, captures high-resolution images 10 through a dedicated optical module, and performs on-device analysis via a pretrained AI or GenAI engine. The system enables accurate, real-time screening of conditions such as Sickle Cell Disease, Malaria, Thalassemia, and anaemias without the need for laboratory infrastructure or skilled personnel. The device features modular AI architecture, supports multiple diagnostic profiles, and provides an end15 to- end “sample-to-answer” solution housed within a rugged, battery-powered enclosure suitable for field deployment.
