Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated IoT-based wearable safety apparatus (100) configured for monitoring and protecting electrical linemen and industrial workers operating in hazardous environments. The apparatus (100) comprises a smart glove module (102), a smart vest module (104), one or more sensor modules (106), a processing unit (108), a wireless communication module (110), and an alert-generation module (112). The smart glove module (102) detects electrical proximity and leakage-current conditions, while the smart vest module (104) monitors physiological, environmental, and motion-related parameters including fall events. The processing unit (108) performs real-time sensor-fusion analysis and generates localized haptic, audible, and visual alerts upon detection of hazardous conditions. The apparatus further transmits worker information and emergency alerts to remote monitoring systems through IoT communication frameworks, thereby enabling proactive occupational hazard detection and automated emergency-response coordination.
