Abstract: ABSTRACT INTEGRATED LOW VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY FOR VEHICLE CONTROL ARCHITECTURE The present invention relates to a low-voltage power supply 100 for an EV. The 5 power supply derives a regulated low-voltage direct current (DC) output directly from a battery 102 of high voltage, thereby eliminating the need for a separate auxiliary battery. The power supply includes a filter 104 electrically connected to the battery 102 to suppress electrical noise, and an isolated DC–DC converter 106 configured to convert the filtered high-voltage DC input into a stable low-voltage 10 DC output, preferably about 13.5 volts, for powering auxiliary components of the EV. A controller operatively coupled to the converter regulates operation based on an isolated feedback signal, transmitted through an optocoupler, to maintain output stability. The controller supports multiple operating modes including burst mode, frequency fold-back mode, discontinuous conduction mode, and quasi-resonant 15 mode to enhance efficiency across load ranges.
