Abstract: ABSTRACT Integrated semiautomatic areca nut processing system from de-husking to packaging The present invention relates to an integrated areca nut processing system comprising a de-husking unit (3) for removing outer husk from harvested areca nuts, a first conveyor (5) for transferring peeled areca nuts, and a boiling unit including a movable container (12) and a boiling chamber (13) for subjecting the areca nuts to boiling. A second conveyor (15) is provided to transfer boiled areca nuts to a drying unit comprising sequential chambers (16, 17, 18) maintained at progressively increasing temperatures for moisture reduction. The processed areca nuts are collected through a collecting conveyor (19), a collector (20), and a receiving arrangement (21). The system enables continuous processing of areca nuts from de- husking through boiling and drying to collection.
