Abstract: ABSTRACT: Integrated Veterinary Helminth Treatment Evaluation System Using Ayurvedic and Conventional Therapeutic Protocols This invention describes a controlled veterinary treatment and evaluation system for assessing Shastrokt Ayurvedic formulations in management of gastrointestinal helminth infection in goats. The system establishes a reproducible experimental sequence comprising animal selection, baseline parasitological examination, controlled deworming, parasite egg harvesting, larval culture, preparation of infective third-stage larvae, controlled inoculation, infection-establishment monitoring, treatment-group allocation, therapeutic administration, and post-treatment evaluation. Goats are assigned to untreated control, conventional anthelmintic, Ayurvedic treatment, and combined conventional- Ayurvedic treatment groups. Therapeutic response is quantitatively determined using sequential faecal egg counts, faecal egg count reduction testing, clinical observations, haematological parameters, body-condition indicators, adverse-event monitoring, and statistical comparison. The system enables standardized assessment of parasite reduction, recurrence, tolerance, and comparative therapeutic response while supporting the scientific validation of traditional Ayurvedic Krimighna principles for veterinary applications.
