Abstract: Drum washer digitization system designed for Drum washer machines of Textile industry. Data will be collected from the water flowmeter and manual entry of fabric weight and GLM into the PLC. It is suitable for all capacities of drum washers and different fabrics. System calculates the exact amount of water needed for each of the steps based on the fabric type and GLM entered into the PLC by the user. There is no manual intervention involved once details are uploaded into the PLC by the operator. It serves as a handy system where the entire drum washer process is digitized which keeps record of all utilities consumed for each batch along with its timing.
