Abstract: INTELLIGENT COMPOST MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM USING IOT SENSORS Abstract The present invention relates to an intelligent compost monitoring and control system (100) using Internet of Things (IoT) technology for efficient organic waste management. The system comprises a compost chamber (101), a sensor module (102), a microcontroller unit (107), a control unit (108), actuators (111), an IoT connectivity module (125), and a power supply (115). The sensor module (102) includes a temperature sensor (103), moisture sensor (104), gas sensor (105), and humidity sensor (106) configured to monitor compost parameters in real time. The microcontroller unit (107) processes sensor data, and the control unit (108) with a decision algorithm (110) compares the data with predefined thresholds to generate control signals. Based on these signals, the actuators (111), including an aeration fan (112), water pump (113), and mixing motor (114), regulate composting conditions. The IoT connectivity module (125) enables remote monitoring, data logging, and alerts via a cloud or mobile platform (116). The system operates as a closed-loop mechanism to improve compost quality and reduce decomposition time.
