Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent edge-cloud framework for real-time industrial asset performance diagnostics and failure prevention. The framework comprises a distributed industrial sensor acquisition layer, an edge intelligence processing engine, a real- time asset condition evaluation module, an adaptive edge-cloud synchronization framework, an industrial data fusion and context generation engine, a performance diagnostics and degradation assessment module, a failure prevention decision engine, an asset health knowledge repository, a maintenance coordination and resource scheduling framework, a predictive risk prioritization engine, a self- optimizing learning module, and an industrial visualization and decision support platform. Operational information obtained from industrial assets is processed through coordinated edge and cloud computing environments to evaluate equipment conditions, identify degradation tendencies, estimate operational risks, and determine preventive actions. The invention enables low-latency diagnostics, intelligent failure prevention, adaptive maintenance planning, and continuous optimization of industrial asset management, thereby improving operational reliability, reducing downtime, and enhancing industrial productivity.
