Abstract: The present system discloses an Intelligent Energy Management System for Smart Grids Using IoT Data Aggregation and ML-Based Load Forecasting. The proposed framework integrates IoT-enabled sensing, edge computing, machine learning, and intelligent optimization to improve energy efficiency and grid reliability. Real-time operational data are collected from smart meters, renewable energy resources, battery storage systems, and consumer appliances through IoT gateways. A hybrid CNN- LSTM-Attention model forecasts short-term electrical load by learning spatial and temporal consumption patterns, while a Reinforcement Learning-based optimization engine dynamically schedules power distribution, battery charging/discharging, and demand-response actions. The cloud-edge collaborative architecture enables continuous model improvement with low-latency analytics and scalable deployment. Experimental validation demonstrates superior forecasting accuracy, reduced peak demand, improved renewable energy utilization, and lower operational costs compared with conventional methods. The invention provides a secure, intelligent, and scalable solution for next-generation smart grids and sustainable energy management systems.
