Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present invention, titled “The Intelligent Insider Threat Detection System” is a cybersecurity solution designed to identify and prevent insider threats through real-time analysis of user behavior. The system integrates multiple data sources, including login activity, file access records, and network logs, to construct comprehensive behavioral profiles for each user. It employs a hybrid detection approach that combines machine learning-based anomaly detection with rule-based analysis to detect both known and unknown malicious activities. A dynamic risk scoring mechanism evaluates user-behavior-and catego rizes-threat levels, enabling prioritized— alert generation. The system operates in real time, providing instant alerts along with explainable insights to support effective decision- making by security analysts. By leveraging multi-source data integration, predictive analytics, and intelligent monitoring, the proposed system enhances detection accuracy, reduces false positives, and strengthens overall organizational security against insider threats
