Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of the fast-paced nature of urbanization demands innovative methods to monitor air quality and safeguard public health. This article describes an intelligent sensor network powered by machine learning analytics tailored to forecast air pollution in real-time and manage urban environments effectively. The system uses a distributed network of affordable sensors that are calibrated to gather accurate information about the environment at any time. These sensors feed data into predictive models capable of delivering accurate predictions on air pollution. The use of real-time data makes the model suitable for making immediate decisions by the municipalities. Edge computing minimizes latency, whereas cloud computing ensures that the system can grow without issues. This study proves that such an approach creates a highly effective means of environmental monitoring and contributes to smart city development initiatives. FIG.1
