MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521077393 A) filed by Vitruv Motors Private Limited on August 13, 2025, for Intelligent Light Diffusion System For Vehicle Drivers And Method Implemented Therein.
Inventors include Daniel Hwang; Gauri Jayakrishnan Nair; Joshua Anthony; and Alfonse Mathew.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT INTELLIGENT LIGHT DIFFUSION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE DRIVERS AND METHOD IMPLEMENTED THEREIN Disclosed are an intelligent light diffusion system and method to mitigate vision impairment of a vehicle driver caused by high intensity light from external sources. The system comprises at least one light detection sensor for capturing real-time video of the driver’s surroundings, a computing unit implementing a detection model for identifying target blobs pertaining to high intensity light beams and predicting their trajectory of movement using a linear motion model, a glazing positioned in front of the driver’s eyes, and a blob fader module for selectively fading portions of the glazing. The blob fader module includes a transparent layered fading film having selectively activatable segments and an activation module for progressively fading the segments based on the predicted trajectory. The system is deployable in vehicles, eyewear, and protective headgear, enabling autonomous glare mitigation without driver intervention. FIG. 1F
