MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641089346 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on July 22, 2026, for Intelligent Lpg Monitoring And Management System.
Inventors include Aravindkumar S; Chavan Shivam Sandip; and Shruthi M.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (102) and method (300) for intelligent IoT -based LPG monitoring and blockchain management. The system (102) includes a multi-sensor monitoring assembly (104, 106, 110, 112, 114) configured to measure weight of an LPG cylinder (108). At least one gas leakage detection sensor (110) is configured to detect concentration of LPG in surrounding air. At least one environmental sensor (112) configured to measure one or more environmental parameters of the surrounding air. The system (102) receives data from the multi-sensor monitoring assembly, the at least one gas leakage detection sensor (110), and the at least one environmental sensor (112). The system (102) determines the LPG level and one or more patterns associated with the determined LPG level based on the received data. The system (102) transmits information associated with the determined the LPG level and the patterns to a cloud server (124).
