The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an Intelligent One-Touch Retractable Rear Cabin Transformation System for Dual-Mode Pickup Utility Vehicles configured to automatically transform an open rear cargo bed of a pickup utility vehicle into a fully enclosed luxury passenger cabin and reversibly restore the vehicle to its original open cargo configuration. The system comprises a retractable roof assembly, telescopic support structure, deployable side enclosure panels, rear closure assembly, structural reinforcement frame, guide rails, electrically driven actuators, electronic locking mechanisms, weather sealing members, sensors, and an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The ECU is configured to receive a user command through a dashboard switch, key fob, wireless control device, or equivalent interface and coordinate synchronized deployment and retraction of the roof assembly, side enclosure panels, and rear closure assembly. Position sensors provide feedback for monitoring component movement and completion of the transformation sequence, while safety functions including obstacle detection, anti-pinch protection, emergency manual override, and weather-responsive closure improve operational safety and reliability. The converted rear cabin further incorporates passenger seating, interior trim, lighting, ventilation, acoustic insulation, weather protection, electronic security, and rear climate-control integration. The modular conversion architecture enables adaptation to different pickup utility vehicle platforms without permanent modification of the original chassis or passenger cabin, while preserving cargo-carrying functionality and vehicle dynamics. The disclosed system thereby provides rapid, convenient, secure, and intelligent dual-mode operation between cargo transportation and premium passenger accommodation, improving passenger comfort, safety, weather protection, versatility, and commercial utility of pickup utility vehicles.
