MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611068482 A) filed by Chandigarh University on June 01, 2026, for Intelligent Predictive Tire Pressure Balancing And Emergency Vehicle Immobilization Safety Control System.

Inventor includes Bebesh Tripathy.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an intelligent tire pressure management and vehicle safety interlock system for predicting and preventing tire-related hazards in vehicles. The system comprises high-frequency tire pressure and temperature sensors, wheel-speed sensors, an inertial measurement unit, a pneumatic equalization subsystem, and a central processing and intelligence unit configured to execute a machine-learning model. The machine-learning model analyses multivariate sensor data including pressure-loss rate, thermal variation, vibration patterns, and vehicle dynamics to classify tire conditions and predict imminent tire failure events. The system autonomously equalizes tire pressure during vehicle operation through digitally controlled valves, an air transfer pump, and a pressure reservoir. The system generates graduated warnings and activates a safety interlock configured to immobilize the vehicle or initiate a controlled safe-stop protocol upon detection of hazardous conditions. The invention improves vehicle stability, tire life, operational safety, and predictive maintenance efficiency under varying driving conditions.
