Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: INTELLIGENT RIS DEPLOYMENT PLANNING AND OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM FOR SATELLITE-TERRESTRIAL HYBRID COMMUNICATION NETWORKS An intelligent reconfigurable intelligent surface deployment planning and optimization system (100) for satellite-terrestrial hybrid communication networks producing deployment plans for physical installation of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces on building structures. The system comprises a three-dimensional urban environment modelling module (110) generating volumetric digital surface models, a joint visibility computation engine (120) determining simultaneous line-of-sight availability using ray tracing and probabilistic estimation across multiple geometric configurations, a placement optimization module (130) solving a constrained multi-objective optimization problem, a satellite-terrestrial link planning module (140) integrating orbital trajectory prediction with link budget calculation and handover planning, and an adaptive configuration controller (150) dynamically adjusting phase shift matrices based on real-time feedback. The system achieves improved coverage probability, reduced signal outage, and enhanced spectral efficiency. [Figure 1]
