Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent shape-memory alloy blinds system that employs Shape Memory Alloy (Nitinol) wires to actuate slats quietly, smoothly, and efficiently without relying on mechanical motors or gears. Each slat is embedded with an off-centered Nitinol wire that contracts under controlled heating, producing rotational torque which is then distributed uniformly across all slats by the torsion synchronization rod. The system integrates an LDR sensor to detect sunlight intensity, while a thermistor and ESP32 microcontroller regulate the SMA temperature through Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), creating a closed-loop control mechanism. Users can operate the blinds automatically in response to sunlight or override the system manually via push button or remotely through Wi-Fi. A dual power arrangement, consisting of a DC adapter and a solar-powered lithium-ion battery, ensures continuous operation.
