The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The invention seeks to overcome the drawbacks and problems associated with the manual and electric body-scrubbing devices through the incorporation of wall mounting capability, ultrasonic proximity sensing capability, automation of the control and synchronization of a plurality of motor operation in a single personal hygiene system. The invention presents an automatic and intelligent way of sensing the presence and relative proximity of a user's body and controlling a plurality of electrically driven scrubbing elements based on the position of the user. In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, the ultrasonic proximity sensor is used to detect the distance between the user's body and the scrubbing assembly in continuous or selective manner, whereas the controller uses the sensing information to control the initiation, regulation and termination of operation of the scrubbing motors. The synchronization of multi-motor drive system facilitates the movement of the plurality of scrubbing elements in a coordinated manner to ensure substantially consistent and uniform body-scrubbing. The wall mounting of the scrubbing device facilitates its hands-free operation. Further, the invention may include suitable motor drivers, power supply, control circuitry and user-controlled control elements to regulate the operating parameters of the scrubbing mechanism.
